In honor of Black History Month, the JHU BFSA will be hosting its second annual Student Oratory Competition. Students will present an original composition three to five minutes long, interpreting one of four quotes on the basis of their life experience. Cash prizes for first, second, and third place will be awarded. This competition is open to all JHU students.
The event is at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, in the Great Hall in Levering. Refreshments will be served.
