On Jan. 3, beginning at 9 a.m., the Library Applications Group will update software used to run several critical library functions across all JHU libraries. Installation and testing will last up to six hours (3 p.m.). During this period, most library services will still be available to you but may require you to seek assistance from a library staff member.
Library User Survival Guide for Systems Outage
- Most library systems used by students and faculty will continue to operate during the maintenance work.
- Self-checkout options will not be available. To check out a book, see the staff at the Circulation Desk or Service Desk.
- "My Account" features will not be working. You will not be able to see the materials you have checked out or renew them.
Thank you for your patience while we perform this necessary work. Visit or call your library's help desk or chat support if you have any questions or need help. See the Sheridan Libraries website for links to contact information for all JHU libraries.
