On Thursday, Dec. 7, Baltimore City will close Charles Street in the vicinity of the Peabody Institute for the annual Lighting of the Monument Ceremony.
As a result, the Peabody northbound bus stop on the Homewood-Peabody-JHMI Shuttle route will be relocated two blocks north to the intersection of Charles Street and Read Street. The closure is expected to last from 9 a.m.–10 p.m. but may vary slightly. The buses will service the main stop while Charles Street remains open.
