The Sexual Assault Research Unit, known as SARU, invites you to dress up and come to dinner at Joe Squared (33 W. North Ave.). The event, which includes a speaker, is Thursday, Nov. 30. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the speaker begins at 8:30.
This year's speaker is Paul Tran. Tran is a Title IX-compliant speaker and genderqueer performance artist. Their one-hour spoken word performance will be about their experience as a first-generation immigrant, survivor of sexual assault, and as an individual in America.
Tickets for the event will include a full dinner and are priced as follows: $10 per person, $16 for a pair, and $12 at the door. Buy tickets on SARU's Night Out 2017 page of the Homewood Student Affairs website.
