Join the JHU medical/public health brigade to Honduras

Partnering with local health care professionals, you will run a medical clinic in a rural community in Honduras that does not have access to health care. You will be able to shadow doctors, dentists, pharmacists, and gynecologists (females only); pack medications; and work with patients to figure out why they are sick.

This is a hybrid medical/dental/public health brigade, Jan.16-24, 2018. The return date is five days before spring semester begins, so that you have sufficient time to rest up. On the same trip, you'll be working with one family over one week to build a sanitation station (consisting of a shower, toilet, and water pila), cement floors, and an eco-stove. All these projects improve the overall health of the family, and you get to connect with the family as you work alongside them throughout the week.
