Chocolate returns to Maryland Hall this intersession

Revived in time for Intersession 2018, Chocolate: An Introduction to Materials Science returns. Expect to explore an interdisciplinary field of science in a whole new way, and learn a few culinary tricks in the process. Students will have the opportunity to test their own creations in an engineering lab, and will be guided to perform their own research on a scientific culinary topic of their choosing. No background in science is required except some basic high school algebra and an open mind. This isn't a cake class, but a love of chocolate is a must. Space is limited, so be sure to register early. For questions or further information please contact course Instructor Shane Arlington arlington@jhu.edu or Jennifer Dailey jldailey@jhu.edu.
