Johns Hopkins community physicians scribe program

Since the Spring of 2016, the Office of Pre-Professional Programs and Advising partnered with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) to develop a scribe program for recent graduates looking for an exciting gap year experience prior to medical school. The program has been a great success and is now in search of bright and motivated individuals to scribe in JHCP's ambulatory clinics beginning in December 2017. The position is full-time and the commitment is 12 months. Candidates must have their own vehicle. A desire to pursue further medical professional training is preferred, and scribes will receive training in medical and clinical terminology, commonly seen illnesses, and in working in electronic health record systems.
