The Center for Leadership Education (CLE) offers courses as well as free individualized consulting and a Thursday evening Conversation Club to help you. English as a Second Language (ESL) Specialists recommend that you register for one of these fun and helpful courses, for which full descriptions are online:

In addition to these fine courses, as a Johns Hopkins undergraduate, a Whiting School of Engineering student, or as an enrollee in any CLE course from any school, you are eligible for free one-on-one consulting by these ESL Specialists. You schedule when it is best for you. Come in to improve both your oral and written communication skills, and to enhance your development as a future researcher or professional. In general, students meet for 45-minute-sessions once weekly, collaborating on a mutually agreed upon program of study to improve some aspects of English.
