This year's Institute for Data Intensive Engineering and Science symposium will be held Friday, Oct. 20. The annual event includes a poster session, which allows presenters to share new research with fellow IDIES affiliates. The symposium will be held in Mudd Hall Auditorium; the poster session is on the upper level of Mudd.
Before the open poster session, presenters will have 1 minute and 1 slide to pitch their poster in front of the symposium attendees, in an event called "Poster Madness." If you want to have a poster at this year's meeting, please complete the registration form and have your abstract ready for upload. You will be notified on a rolling basis about whether your poster was accepted. If it is, the abstract will appear on the IDIES website, and after the symposium, you have the option of having the poster on the website, as well.
Please note that the first author should be the presenting author unless you indicate otherwise on the registration form. The presenting author is required to be at the poster session on Oct. 20.
