Take a break, relax and center yourself with mindfulness and yoga. This class will combine yoga postures, breathing techniques, as well as mindful and meditation practices to help you decrease stress and anxiety, increase concentration, and improve mental, emotional and physical well-being. Classes are on Thursdays from 4:30-5:20 p.m. in the Mattin Center SDS room. Classes run from September 7 through December 14. No special attire or yoga experience are necessary. Yoga mats will be provided or you can bring your own. This class is open to all Homewood or Peabody Undergraduate & Graduate Students. The class is instructed by Nila Mechali Berger, E-RYT200 and is sponsored by the Counseling Center with support from the Dean of Students Office.
