The Anxiety and Stress Management Workshop aims to teach you skills and develop tools to better manage your anxiety and stress. You will learn theories about the development of anxiety and how to cope with it. This will include exposure to: relaxation exercises, mindfulness practices, and cognitive restructuring. You will be provided weekly materials that will allow the creation of your own workbook, full of tools and exercises that will be useful throughout your life. The workshop is a 4-week series of 90-minute sessions. Pre-registration is required and students need to be able to attend all 4 sessions.
Meetings are Fridays on 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, and 10/27 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The Anxiety and Stress Management Workshop is offered again during the semester. If this series does not fit your schedule and you would like to be contacted about future offerings, please continue to the registration form to provide your contact information.
Group participants will be contacted by the group leader with more information about the group prior to the start of the group. If you have questions, please email Dr. Ro Nicolosi at rnicolo1@jhu.edu.
