Adopt a fourth- or sixth-grade class, and create a bond with students in the Baltimore community. Once a month, from November to March, teams of JH staff volunteers visit one of three local elementary/middle schools for an hour, with the overall mission of helping children gain awareness of the abundance of careers in health care, while reinforcing the importance of academic preparation and participation in achieving academic excellence and career success.
