The group is a nonauditioned full chorus (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) whose focus is large-scale choral works, usually from the classical or baroque periods. Our repertoire varies in difficulty, but we welcome singers of all ranges and experience levels. Undergraduates, graduates, faculty, staff, and Hopkins community members are all welcome! Since there are no auditions, there is also no pressure.
The chorus rehearses once a week: every Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. in the Mattin Center SDS Room. The commitment level is low but rewarding. Every season is a new opportunity to improve yourself as a singer and sight-reader, under the tutelage of our wonderful director, Mark Hardy.
