Odyssey: Sunday Morning Shorts at the Hopkins Club

This semester's edition of the Odyssey book discussion series, "Sunday Morning Shorts," focuses on shorter works of the late 20th century and contemporary fiction from award-winning authors. The class has six sessions, every other Sunday morning, when three of Odyssey's favorite lecturers will lead lively discussions over coffee and tea.

  • Sunday, Sept. 24 and Oct. 8: Patricia Schultheis gives a talk titled "Humor on the Half Shell."
  • Sunday, Oct. 22 and Nov. 5: Gregg Wilhelm leads discussion of Haruki Murakami's new collection of short stories all about MEN in absence of women.
  • Sunday, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3: Dianne Scheper discusses Andre Dubus, a master of the short story.
