This semester's edition of the Odyssey book discussion series, "Sunday Morning Shorts," focuses on shorter works of the late 20th century and contemporary fiction from award-winning authors. The class has six sessions, every other Sunday morning, when three of Odyssey's favorite lecturers will lead lively discussions over coffee and tea.
- Sunday, Sept. 24 and Oct. 8: Patricia Schultheis gives a talk titled "Humor on the Half Shell."
- Sunday, Oct. 22 and Nov. 5: Gregg Wilhelm leads discussion of Haruki Murakami's new collection of short stories all about MEN in absence of women.
- Sunday, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3: Dianne Scheper discusses Andre Dubus, a master of the short story.
