This course will include a historical survey of the evolution of the Hindu tradition from 3000 BCE to modern times, interpreting the Vedas and their commentaries. For details, see Odyssey's fall catalog.
The course includes a trip to a Hindu temple, with the opportunity to engage with members of a local Hindu community. It will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Greater Baltimore Hindu-Jain Temple in Finksburg, Md. Interested students can meet to arrange carpooling.
