Toastmasters is a nonprofit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. The Johns Hopkins at Eastern Toastmasters Club is a welcoming community of faculty and staff who strive to strengthen these skills while in a relaxed, supportive setting. Meetings are held on the first Thursday (noon) and third Wednesday (4 p.m.) of each month and are open to all Johns Hopkins faculty and staff.
The next meeting is at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 16. The club meets at the Eastern campus, 1101 E. 33rd St., 21218, Room C150, where parking is free! (Just park in a "Visitor" space and bring vehicle tag number to check-in desk.)
