Toastmasters is a nonprofit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. The Johns Hopkins at Eastern Toastmasters club is a welcoming community of faculty and staff who practice and learn ways to strengthen these skills while in a relaxed setting. The club meets twice monthly: at noon on the first Thursday and at 4 p.m. on the third Wednesday.
Mark your calendar for the next meetings: noon on Aug. 3 and 4 p.m. on Aug. 16. Meetings are held on the JH at Eastern campus, 1101 E. 33rd St., Room C150. Parking is free, but bring vehicle tag number to check-in desk.
