Baltimore City Public Schools has seen a strong correlation between student access to school uniforms and student attendance. Starting the school year with new uniforms helps students build confidence and allows them to better focus on classwork.
A $40 donation buys two uniforms for a student. Visit the Uniform Drive page of the Work, Life and Engagement website to sponsor a student. Sign up to participate by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18. Credit cards are accepted.
