The Global NCD Symposium will be held Wednesday, May 17, in the West Reading Room of the Welch Library on the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus.
This year's symposium will feature presentations on innovative research into prevention of noncommunicable diseases in low- and middle-income countries, performed by faculty and students at three global health research sites: Lima (Perú), Nagaseke (Uganda), and Puno (Perú). We are soliciting poster presentations on all global NCD research done at Johns Hopkins. This event will be well-attended by the Johns Hopkins community, and is a great opportunity to highlight the groundbreaking research being conducted on our campuses. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate by submitting an abstract, even if it is one that has been presented at another meeting. To submit a poster presentation, submit your completed .pdf poster to globalncd@jhu.edu by this Friday, May 12.
