Open house: Johns Hopkins at Eastern Toastmasters Club

If you are like most people, public speaking exists somewhere on your list of fears. Fortunately, the Johns Hopkins at Eastern Toastmasters Club can help, and we are hosting an open house to show you how. The event is at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, in room C150 at Eastern.

Join us to experience a typical Toastmasters meeting, with the addition of a DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) as guest speaker, as well as a Q&A session, special snacks and beverages, and prizes!

Our club is open to all Johns Hopkins faculty and staff interested in strengthening communication, leadership, and public speaking skills in a supportive setting. We hold meetings twice monthly, at noon on the first Thursday and at 4 p.m. on the third Wednesday, in room C150 of Eastern, where parking is free.
