JHU Business Plan Competition

Join us for the annual Johns Hopkins Business Plan Competition, which will be held this Thursday and Friday, April 6 and 7.    The competition, hosted by the WSE's Center for Leadership Education, will span two campuses this year, with events at the School of Medicine running from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, and events on the Homewood campus running 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday.   The Business Plan Competition provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about some of our students' most innovative projects and startup ideas as they, along with students from other universities, go head-to-head to compete for seed funding by presenting their startup ideas to a panel of judges.   This year, students will compete in four categories—Mobile Applications, Medical Technology and Life Sciences, Social Enterprise, and General Business. The Thursday presentations at the School of Medicine will feature teams in the Medical Technology/Life Sciences and Mobile Applications tracks. Teams competing in the General Business and Social Enterprise tracks will present in Hodson 210 on Friday.   You can view a complete schedule of events.
