This course reviews the legal context in which issues associated with aging, such as guardianship, trusts, Powers of Attorney, Medicaid, and long-term care, are addressed. The course also examines Social Security and other eligibility issues as well as housing, community-based care, probate and wills, and advance directives regarding medical care and surrogate medical decision making.
