A project on the biochemical properties of MICAL is seeking an undergraduate researcher. MICAL is a protein that regulates axon guidance, we are studying it's biochemical properties, especially its enzymatic role in oxidizing actin and H2O2 generation.
Junior or Senior students with some lab background are encouraged to apply. Note that this position is on the Medical Campus.
The position is open immediately and continued work during the coming summer is a possibility.
The student will work closely with Prof. Mario Bianchet and can either be paid or work for research credits.
If interested, please respond by Monday, March 20 with a short cover letter (including your motivations, available hours this semester, whether you would prefer pay or credit) and a 1-page resume.
