Arts for Hearts is the Johns Hopkins American Heart Association's performing arts benefit showcase. This official annual event will take place from 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, as a part of JHU Alumni Weekend. Free admission! There will be a huge outdoor stage on the Homewood Beach for Hopkins and Baltimore community dance and musical performances. There will be food trucks, ice cream trucks, tons more food, and raffles to enter for a chance to win Orioles tickets, gift cards, and much more! Join us for this great outdoor concert for a great cause. All proceeds go to the American Heart Association.
Arts for Hearts auditions will be held on two evenings, from 5 to 8 p.m. in Levering Hall, Homewood campus: Friday, Feb. 24, in the Great Hall and Wednesday, March 1, in the Glass Pavilion. We are looking for musical and dance performances.
We are also looking for dancers to audition for a group pre-choreographed hip-hop piece. Come dressed to dance and prepared to do a short segment of the dance that will be taught to you.
