Seeking volunteers for paid PET neuroimaging research

Researchers at Johns Hopkins are looking for male and female healthy volunteers to participate in a research PET imaging study to investigate a drug called DMXB-A (also known as GTS-21) as a possible treatment for schizophrenia, nicotine dependence, and other neurocognitive dysfunction.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are 18-55 years of age
  • Have a BMI of 18-30
  • Are healthy
  • Are a current smoker (at least 10 cigarettes per day)

The study involves 1 screening visit, 1 MRI visit; 1 outpatient PET scan visit, and 1 follow-up visit. You may be compensated up to $325 for time and travel.
