Jonathan Palevsky teams up with Jed Gaylin, music director of the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra, with two lectures and a performance option with the HSO, featuring Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, a work that is often the first orchestral piece that children remember hearing. Palevsky will share the English/Spanish narration with Carlos Espinal at the HSO performance. Also on the program is Elgar's popular Enigma Variations.
