Anyone can take this course! "Leading Students Through First-Year Transitions" (EN.660.108) is a 7-week, 1-credit course designed to discuss topics of first-year transition issues and how to support those students when in various roles on campus (e.g. FYMs, RAs, MAPP Mentors, PILOT Leaders, etc.).
Whether you are a current or prospective/potential leader on campus, this is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge about first-year students, the types of transitions they face, and how to best support your current or future mentees in that process.
The course number is EN.660.108 and is offered MW from 12-1:15pm in the first half of the spring semester. Please contact instructor Justin Beauchamp at jbeauchamp@jhu.edu with questions.
