The Beinecke Scholarship is for highly motivated students intending to pursue graduate study in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Applicants should be juniors who have an exceptional record of undergraduate achievement, as well as a documented history of receiving need-based financial aid during his or her undergraduate years. Each scholar receives $4,000 immediately prior to entering graduate school and an additional $30,000 while attending graduate school as a full-time student. Please note that the Beinecke cannot be used to fund professional school (e.g., law school).
