Owing to lack of ridership, Transportation Services has decided to discontinue the Red and Green routes, effective Monday, Dec. 12. Ridership on Blue, Pink, and Night Ride has been soaring to record levels, so we want to refocus resources to better serve those routes. Additionally, we are implementing a new BLC Express route. It will operate from BLC on the :00 and :30 of each hour between 11:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. You simply board the van and tell the driver where you would like to go. This will operate like a Night Ride van, except that you don't need to request it; it will be waiting for you.
If you're somewhere other than BLC and you would like to request a Night Ride, you still can! Click here or download the TransLoc Rider app from your app store. Once you complete the one-time registration, you can request Night Rides via the app without ever speaking to a dispatcher, plus you can see your assigned van's location on the app—no more guessing about when your van will arrive. If you don't want to download the app, you can always visit the TransLoc on demand website to request rides. Non-smartphone users can still call dispatch at 410-516-8700.
