Rental policies: - Rentals are subject to availability. - Equipment requests must be made at least one week prior to your anticipated pick up date. - The renter agrees to assume all liability, and be solely responsible for the rented equipment, its use, and its users. - If equipment is damaged, destroyed, missing, or stolen, the renter gives Johns Hopkins University permission to charge their student or staff account the full replacement/repair cost of the equipment rented. - If equipment is returned late the renter will be charged the day rate for each day it is not returned. After one week the renter will be charged for the full replacement amount. - If equipment is returned excessively dirty there will be a cleaning fee added at drop off. - Equipment must be returned before 5:00pm on the agreed upon return date. - Payment for rentals is due at the time of pick up. We accept checks made out to JHU or exact cash. - The Office of Experiential Education reserves the right to collect a deposit on rental equipment in addition to the the rental fee. Deposits will be returned once equipment is returned.
How to rent equipment: 1. Fill out the equipment request form. 2. A confirmation email will be sent within 1 business day. 3. Stop by the Experiential Education Office on your pick up date/time. 4. Return rented equipment by 5:00pm on the agreed upon drop off date.
