The Public Health in Asia Symposium to be held on Feb. 18, 2017 seeks to provide a platform for undergraduate and graduate students from across the country to explore general public health issues in Asia. This year's theme is "The price of progress: public health challenges arising from an evolving Asia," which hopes to explore the ways in which rapid growth within the Asian region has given rise to unprecedented health threats. This symposium seeks to bring forth a holistic view of Asia's public health status through a representation of many different nations.
If you would like to present independent research at the symposium, please send an abstract of no more than 300 words along with your contact information to PHSA@jhu.edu by Jan. 10, 2017.
