Take the Work-Life Pledge to intentionally focus on you

With the holiday season upon us, it's challenging to be work-life fit. As a gift to yourself, can you find time for a mini-focus on your work-life mix? Maybe taking the Johns Hopkins Work-Life Pledge and choosing a self-care strategy will help you manage stress. If December seems too crazy for an intentional focus on you, set your intention for January. New: pledge buddies—an opportunity to be matched with another pledge participant to share the journey of shaping work-life mix.

The Work-Life Pledge is an opportunity for faculty and staff to choose from best practices in five categories known to improve work-life effectiveness. Individuals who take the pledge choose from a menu of strategies to customize and commit to a 30-day action plan. One, two, or more strategies is a great place to start.
