Drivers should watch for lane closures on Wyman Park Drive

Construction is progressing on Phases 2 and 3 of the [San Martin Drive Pedestrian Improvements project] (http://jhfre.jhu.edu/projects/SanMartin/index.html), and there are several activities coming up that will affect pedestrians and drivers around that part of the Homewood campus.

On Friday, Nov. 18, and Monday, Nov. 21, contractors will be installing new trees along Wyman Park Drive. On those days, the section of the road between Carnegie Way and San Martin Drive will be reduced to one travel lane with flagmen directing traffic.

Drivers should also be aware that from Friday, Dec. 2, through Friday, Dec. 16, contractors will be repaving Wyman Park Drive between Remington Avenue and Carnegie Way (including the Carnegie Way intersection) and San Martin Drive between University Parkway and the lower entrance of the Muller Parking Deck. At least one travel lane will always be maintained in these areas with flagmen directing traffic.
