Global Medical/Public Health Brigades is taking a 9-day volunteer trip to Honduras. Our next trip is in January 2017 during Intersession.
A brigade is a 7-9 day volunteer trip to Honduras, where you will be engaging in medical volunteer and construction projects throughout the trip. On the medical side, you will have the chance to shadow doctors and dentists and have hands-on experience with patients in figuring out why they are sick. On the public health side, you will have the chance to work with one family on projects such as building a sanitation station and an eco-stove to improve the overall health of the family, and really connect on a personally level with that family you are working with.
