Dark eye circles are common and can affect one's quality of life. No effective treatments and no good method to measure response to treatments currently exist. Your participation will help us determine causes of dark eye circles and develop a system to measure the severity of dark circles around the eyes.
Volunteers needed are men and women age 18 or older with or without dark circles around the eyes.
Participation involves:
- Photographs of your under-eye skin
- Shine a light on your skin to measure pigment levels
- Self-assessment questionnaire
Time needed for study: one visit, approximately 30 minutes
Reimbursement: $10
