Johns Hopkins Outdoors Club sign-ups are open for canoeing on Oct. 9 and an overnight "survival" hiking trip on Oct. 7-8. Hiking trip participants will spend the night at the Earth and Planetary Science Department's cabin near the Appalachian trail, and the group will learn about primitive survival techniques.
