Project Charmify is a new nonprofit startup at Johns Hopkins that transforms vacant lots into vibrant community spaces. Members engage with interested community members and local businesses to plan avenues for recreation and socialization in Baltimore neighborhoods, connect these groups and individuals with the resources of Johns Hopkins University and its affiliates, and promote a better sense of safety and well-being for Baltimore residents.
Project Charmify is currently recruiting for both executive board and committee positions; stop by a general interest meeting to hear an overview of the group's mission, organizational structure, progress to date, and information on the vacant positions we have in the group.
Students from all classes and of all majors are encouraged to attend an info session on Sept. 21 from 8-9 p.m. in Hodson 311.
