Introducing a new three-week faculty-led study abroad program in Bremen and Berlin, Germany. This 3-credit course offers the opportunity to get in-depth knowledge and experience on how German society critically deals with its past and on how the nation's legacy is debated, fought over, and being constantly reshaped. The program will start in Bremen, which has a rich historical tradition, and will end in Berlin with visits to the remnants of the Berlin Wall, Holocaust Memorial, and other sites.
