The Johns Hopkins Film Society is a student-run film club promoting the dissemination of artistic ideas through the screening of films throughout the year. In the spring, the group holds a three-day film festival showcasing films from local filmmakers, students, and independent filmmakers around the world. There are also feature films selected that promote the nature of intelligent filmmaking and thoughtful storytelling.
The Film Society meets once a week to plan out screenings and special events, and to talk about all the movies we love.
All cinephiles are welcome; join us on Thursdays at 6 p.m. in Hackerman 320.
