Clinical research opportunity at JHU's medical campus

The Center for AIDS Research is looking for a dedicated student to join the team. This is a great opportunity for a student looking to develop their clinical research skills by working on a variety of HIV studies based in the Moore Clinic at JHU's East Baltimore campus. Specifically, the position will be based within the Clinical Core of the CFAR, which assists investigators with staring and carrying out clinical trials.

The ideal candidate for this internship will have some research or work experience, an interest in public health, good communication skills, a GPA 3.0 or higher, and familiarity with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit in the Moore clinic
  • Work closely with patients and providers
  • Assist with reporting
  • Conduct reminder phone calls
  • Shadow/conduct study visit sessions

We are looking for someone who can commit 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday during regular clinic hours (9 a.m.-5 p.m.). The position pays $10/hour. Applicants should send their resumes and/or questions to Kayla Herne.
