The Public Health Symposium committee is in charge of organizing and facilitating the Annual Public Health in Asia Symposium, an interdivisional forum for students to present their research and discuss issues related to public health issues in Asia. The symposium hopes to encourage greater understanding of the emerging public health issues in Asia by facilitating interactions among faculty, professionals, and students.
Duties include:
- Developing the symposium theme
- Reviewing proposals
- Organizing panels
- Corresponding with faculty and researchers
- Promoting the event through social media
- Moderating panels
