Seeking volunteers for study on how exercise affects brain function

A Johns Hopkins research study is examining how exercise at different intensities affects cognitive function, such as memory and attention.

Healthy men and women who want to volunteer must be ages 18-40 years old, normal to overweight, and not smoking.

Initial measures include aerobic and strength fitness, body composition, physical activity levels, cognitive function, and blood markers related to brain function. After a workout on a treadmill or a rest period, the cognitive and blood testing will be repeated three times over two hours, and then one day later. Participants in the study will make three visits to Johns Hopkins Bayview.

We offer compensation for your participation and free parking.
