Peaceful vigil planned in response to recent shootings

School of Medicine students will lead a peaceful vigil in response to last week's tragic events—the deaths of two African-American men who were shot by police officers, and the subsequent shooting deaths of five police officers in Dallas during a protest rally.

A gathering in remembrance of all lives lost to violence and hate will be held at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, outside the Anne and Mike Armstrong Medical Education Building on the university's East Baltimore campus. The event is open to all members of the Johns Hopkins community.
