The driveway/pedestrian walkway between Shaffer/Croft and Shriver will be closed to vehicles during the week of July 5–8 for the installation of a precast concrete manhole in the pathway. The manhole is being installed as the final connection point for the IT Infrastructure Project, which is extending communication cabling to Croft and Shriver halls. Large construction equipment and construction vehicles will be in the area to excavate a large pit for the placement of a concrete structure to be placed in the ground.
