Katie Schroeder, Live Near Your Work program coordinator, will discuss the steps employees need to take to use a LNYW grant to help purchase a new or existing home in Baltimore City. Ryan Homes will explain what to expect when buying a new construction home, including the advantages of buying new construction vs. existing properties, a typical timeline for this type of purchase, and selecting options in addition to already included home amenities. In addition, the real estate professionals involved in new construction purchases (developer, builder, lender, title company, and others) will be reviewed. Ryan Homes will also provide a sneak peek at its exciting new development in Eager Park in East Baltimore.
