Well-Being: Learn How to Identify Your Cancer Screening and Prevention Strategies

May is Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month. As spring progresses into summer, there are decisions we can make to prevent cancer and improve our outcomes if we are diagnosed with cancer. Join Marie Borsellino, from Johns Hopkins Managing Cancer at Work, to learn about skin cancer screenings and prevention. Borsellino will also review the Managing Cancer at Work Screening and Prevention Portal, which offers customized tools and basic information on preventing skin cancer and other types of cancer and the screening tests. The website will help you understand whether you have risk factors that make your chances of a cancer diagnosis more likely, and how you can reduce your risk. Borsellino will also describe the oncology nurse navigator services available to faculty, staff, and their loved ones at no cost as part of their benefits package.
