The GRO is seeking a person to help set up the GRO Guide website on a virtual machine on the ACM cluster. A sum of up to $300 ($10 for 30 hours) will be paid as compensation. The website is made by an external agency, and has many dependencies. The website itself is available as just the source code and the associated database dump.
The person will need to import SQL, install Composer, install Laravel, configure database connection, configure Shibboleth SSO, set up Google API Key, and run a crawler.
Interested persons should contact the GRO Guide chair, Shourya, at ssrb@jhu.edu. Familiarity with website hosting on the ACM cluster is preferred.
