Navigating the Office of Research Administration

The ICTR Biomarkers and Diagnostic Testing Translational Research Community; the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology, and Clinical Research; and the Office of Research Administration are co-sponsoring a symposium, "Navigating the Office of Research Administration" from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on April 26 in Hurd Hall. All investigators and study team members are encouraged to attend. The symposium intends to link investigators to available resources in the Office of Research Administration with regard to grants, contracts, sub-awards, and other research agreements.

Attendees will learn:

  • how to initiate contact with ORA
  • who's who in ORA and the workflows
  • procedures and timelines associated with research agreements and contracts

Along with providing research teams with essential information, this event aims to help clarify and streamline a process that is sometimes complicated. Adequate time will be set aside at the end of the informative presentations for audience Q&A.
