Gary Vikan will present his all-but-famous lecture on Elvis, "From the Holy Land to Graceland." In it he will wander the globe with camera in hand, exploring, in a manner at once entertaining and enlightening, the many connections between the saints and holy places of early Christianity and the "secular saints" of today. Of course, Elvis is the king among such modern-day saints, and Graceland the world's pre-eminent secular locus sanctus.
