Undergraduate students (sophomores and above), graduate students, and faculty members are invited to join the Pi Delta Phi French National Honors Society, chapter XI TAU, by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 11. Undergraduates must have taken at least one upper-level (beyond intermediate) French course. To qualify as a regular member, you must have a 3.0 GPA in your French classes, a 2.8 GPA overall, AND rank in the top 35 percent of your class.
The Department of German and Romance Languages and Literatures will collect the membership fees. If you are interested in becoming a member, please print and fully fill out the two parts of the Pi Delta Phi membership application form, which you can download from the society's website.
Go to "Moderators/Faculty," then open "Forms, Posters, Documents," and under "Forms" open Pi Delta Phi Chapter Membership Form. The name of the Johns Hopkins University chapter is XI TAU.
Once completed, please leave the form and a check by 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, with Teri Robinson or Darryl Brace, Gilman 401. The required amount for regular membership is $30; for honorary membership, $15. Checks should be made payable to the Johns Hopkins University.
